Liz Claiborne,a founder of stylish women’s wears, passed away
Liz Claiborne, 78years old popularly known for designing clothes for professional women had passed away on last Tuesday. Claiborne was suffering from cancer for a number of years. She died from complications of the disease at a hospital in New York hospital.
In 1976 Liz Claiborne had established her own fashion company with her husband, Art Ortenberg, a textiles executive in New York City that designs and markets a wide range of women’s and men’s apparel, accessories and fragrance products.
The company sells directly to customers throughout the world through its retail outlets, concessions and e-commerce sites. The company is known for its affordable, professional clothes. Liz Claiborne Inc. was the first company which was founded by a woman and soon it become fortune 500.
